Thomas Riis

Thomas is a Partner at Maj Invest Equity and has 20 years’ experience investing in the Danish middle-market. He began his career working on M&A transactions in Denmark, first at Gudme Raaschou as a junior analyst, and then at PwC in the corporate finance team.

He then joined 3i (Nordic) as an Investment Manager where he was involved in private equity investments in mid-market Danish and Nordic companies.

Prior to joining MIE, Thomas worked for North Sea Capital as a Principal and was responsible for secondaries and co-investments as well as managing international investments in private equity funds.

Thomas holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
