Our Core Foundation
We invest with respect to international standards within human rights, the environment, anti-corruption and corporate governance. Furthermore, we apply fund-specific exclusion lists. Refer to our Responsible Investment Policy for more information.
Our Present Investment Process
- Due diligence: Assessment of material risks, opportunities and impacts.
- Target setting: Assessment of the sustainability target maturity of the company and setting of ESG KPIs.
- Onboarding and action plan: Onboarding with a 2-pager framework, representing an ESG action plan.
- Monitoring and reporting: Continuous monitoring of the 2-pager and fund-level reporting.
- Exit: Documentation of ESG efforts.
From 2023, Maj Invest Group has outlined its ESG focus areas in an ESG house view. Our ESG priorities are areas where we believe that we can make a genuine difference. At Maj Invest Danish Private Equity, this is anchored in the investment processes through the following priorities:

EU Disclosures
With the initiation of the EU Commission’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 (SFDR) on March 10, 2021, Maj Invest Equity, as an accountable AIFM, ensures compliance across its active funds, including the forthcoming MIE 6 Ks. We are committed to providing investors with transparent insights into the integration of sustainability risks in our investment processes, the assessment of adverse sustainability impacts, and the promotion of environmental or social characteristics.
For MIE 6 Ks, Maj Invest Equity will apply SFDR guidelines to endorse environmental and social characteristics in accordance with Article 8 of (EU) 2019/2088 (SFDR). Our website disclosures will be completed using the template for financial products endorsing environmental or social characteristics, as outlined in Article 24 of Regulation (EU) 2022/1288.
Furthermore, we will assess the adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors as directed by Article 4(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088.
