At Maj Invest Minorities, we apply an environmental, social, and governance (ESG) thematic investment strategy that centers on themes and sectors addressing critical sustainability challenges.
Aligned with the ESG priorities of Maj Invest Group, we concentrate our efforts on themes where we can make a genuine impact, particularly investments supporting well-being, climate and environment, and diversity and inclusion.
Our Core Foundation
We invest with respect to international standards within human rights, the environment, anti-corruption and corporate governance. Furthermore, we apply fund-specific exclusion lists. Refer to our Responsible Investment Policy for more information.
- We focus on companies in the life sciences sector that promote well-being by addressing global health challenges and contributing to improved healthcare access.
- We invest in companies developing technological innovation essential for the green transition.
- When appropriate, we promote gender diversity across the board and management of our portfolio companies. For some funds it is a core part of the investment strategy.

EU Disclosures
With the initiation of the EU Commission’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 (SFDR) on March 10, 2021, Maj Invest Equity, as an accountable AIFM, ensures compliance across its active funds, including MIM I, MIM II, and MIET I. We are committed to providing investors with transparent insights into the integration of sustainability risks in our investment processes, the assessment of adverse sustainability impacts, and the promotion of environmental or social characteristics.
Maj Invest Equity will apply SFDR guidelines to endorse environmental and social characteristics in accordance with Article 8 of (EU) 2019/2088 (SFDR) for MIM I, MIM II, and MIET I. Our website disclosures will be completed using the template for financial products endorsing environmental or social characteristics, as outlined in Article 24 of Regulation (EU) 2022/1288.
Furthermore, we will assess the adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors as directed by Article 4(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2019/2088.
