In November, Jens Aaløse joined as Managing Partner in Maj Invest Equity and further joined the management of Maj Invest Holding and Maj Invest Equity. Jens is former Senior Executive Vice President in TDC (2013-2021), CEO in Danske Spil (2010-2013), CEO in Nordic Media Link AB and Dansk Reklamefilm (2006-2010) as well as Vice President in SAS (1986-2006). Thus, Jens has extensive management experience and in-depth knowledge of many types of companies and sectors. In addition, he has broad investment experience through his participation in more than 20 corporate transactions.

Among other executive functions and directorships, Jens Aaløse is Chairman of the Board of Blue Ocean Robotics and Vice Chairman of the Board of Topdanmark.

Niels Toft joined Maj Invest Equity in 2005, shortly before the establishment of Maj Invest Equity. Previously, Niels worked for Bain & Company (1998–2005) with strategy development, operational improvement projects and M&A for a wide range of industrial and service businesses, as well as with commercial due diligence on investments for Nordic private equity clients. Niels holds an MSc in Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and has participated in UCLA’s MBA programme.

Mads Andersen joined Maj Invest Equity in 2008. Prior to joining Maj Invest Equity, Mads worked with the investment company FL Group (2006–2007) and with M&A advisory services for KPMG Corporate Finance (1999–2004) and FIH (2004–2006). Mads holds an MSc in Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.

Thomas Riis joined Maj Invest Equity in 2008. Prior to this, Thomas worked for North Sea Capital from 2005 to 2008 with international investments in private equity funds. Previously, Thomas worked for 3i (Nordic) where he was involved in private investments in medium-sized Danish and Nordic companies (2001–2005). Thomas has also worked with M&A consulting for PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance (1998–2001) as well as Gudme Raaschou (1997–1998). Thomas holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.

Søren Holm Tøth started at Maj Invest Equity in 2014. Before joining Maj Invest, Søren worked with M&A, integration and efficiency improvements at FLSmidth A/S (11-14). Prior to that, Søren held positions at LEO Pharma A/S (10-11) and EY Transaction Advisory Services (06-10) where he worked with transaction and business development tasks. Søren holds an MSc in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.

Kristoffer Møller Pedersen joined Maj Invest Equity in October 2017. Kristoffer has previously worked for Nordea Investment Banking (15-17), where he was involved in a number of Nordic M&A and ECM transactions across various industries. Prior to this, Kristoffer worked for Deloitte Corporate Finance. Kristoffer holds a BSc of Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and an MSc in Economics from the University of Southern Denmark.

Jacob Dyhr Jensen has been employed at Maj Invest since May 2014, first as a junior analyst and since October 2016 as full time. Prior to this, Jacob worked at BankInvest Asset Management as a student assistant. He holds an MSc in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School, and he has worked and studied abroad at the Consulate General of Denmark in New York and Columbia University, respectively.

Joachim Gundelach joined Maj Invest in October 2021. Joachim began his career as an intern at the Nordic private equity firm FSN Capital Partners. Later, Joachim joined Deutsche Bank’s Investment Banking division in London as an associate. During his time at Deutsche Bank, Joachim focused on ECM and M&A transactions within the Industrial sectors. Joachim holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from Copenhagen Business School.

Lukas joined Maj Invest Equity in September 2021. Upon graduation from his master’s degree in 2020, he joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant, advising clients in the consumer goods, private equity and advanced industry sectors on topics related to strategy and cost optimization. Lukas holds an MSc in Finance & Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School and completed a semester abroad at the University of Melbourne in Australia.

Johanne Langager Christensen has been employed at Maj Invest since August 2021, first as a junior analyst and since September 2023 as a full-time analyst. She holds an MSc in Finance & Investments from Copenhagen Business School.

Jannick Mortensen joined Maj Invest Equity in May 2022 with primary focus on private equity minority investments and venture capital. Throughout his career he has been involved in both sell-side and buy-side positions within investment banking and asset management, first at Danske Markets and Deloitte Corporate Finance, then followed by an analyst position in a fundamental long/short equity hedge fund at Danske Capital (’16-’18). Prior to joining MaJ Invest, Jannick was employed as a co-lead portfolio manager on a fundamental equity mandate at Danica (’18-’22). Jannick holds an MSc in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School.

Eva joined Maj Invest Equity in September 2023 with a primary focus on minority investments in venture capital and private equity. Eva has previously worked as an Investment Manager in EIFO's direct investment team, specializing in venture investments within sustainable food production and renewable energy. Prior to this, Eva was employed at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners, where she gained experience in infrastructure investments within green energy. Eva holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and has had international experience with a study abroad program in California at UC Santa Cruz.

Robert Høgh joined Maj Invest Equity in 2022. Previously, he worked as a strategy manager for telecom brands 3 and Oister across Scandinavia. Robert has spent years living in China and Spain, speaking both Spanish and Mandarin fluently. He has a degree in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen and an MBA from Shanghai Jiaotong University, China’s highest ranking business school.

Lisbeth Lykke Olsen joined Maj Invest Equity (Fondsmæglerselskabet LD Invest A/S) in 2008. Before Maj Invest Equity, Lisbeth held a position as secretary with ABN AMRO Bank. Lisbeth has also worked as a secretary for Danica Forsikring, Finansieringsselskabet Gefion, Mercuri International as well as Manpower.

Sine Skov Jonassen came to Maj Invest in 2021, first as Junior Sustainability Manager (part-time) and since 2022 as Sustainability Manager (full-time). Sine holds an MSc from Copenhagen Business School and also has a minor in Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG): Metrics, Reporting and Sustainable Investments.

Jane Hjortkjær is Manager, Accounting in Maj Invest Equity and has been employed in the Maj Invest group since 2006. Jane comes from a position as accountant in Deloitte from which she has 15 years of experience with auditing, accounts and tax for medium-sized companies and groups; the last three years as department head. After Deloitte, Jane worked four years at Novozymes with business controlling within production and R&D. Jane holds an MSc (Business Administration and Auditing).

Ken B. Ernstsen is controller in the Maj Invest Equity department, and has been employed in the group since 2007. Prior to Ken's employment with Maj Invest he worked as an accountant at BDO for eight years and Arthur Andersen for two years, both located in Copenhagen. Ken has an MSc in Business Administration and Auditing from Aarhus School of Business (1995).

Bianca Christiansen is controller with Maj Invest Equity and has been employed in the Maj Invest group since January 2016. Bianca has 10 years of experience working as an accountant for Deloitte. In this position she primarily focused on auditing and accounts for medium-sized companies and institutions. Bianca holds an MSc (Business Administration and Auditing) from Copenhagen Business School.

Henrik Frederiksen has been employed in the Maj Invest group since 2007 and works as an accountant in Maj Invest Equity. Prior to Maj Invest, he worked for KPMG. Henrik holds a bachelor of commerce in accounting.

In March 2022, Mikala Johnsen joined Maj Invest Equity as a controller. Mikala has 5 years of experience with auditing, accounts and tax for financial companies with focus on private equity funds. Mikala holds an MSc (Business Administration and Auditing) from Copenhagen Business School.

In June 2023, Marcus Vammen Kistrup joined Maj Invest Equity as a controller. Marcus has 2 years of experience with auditing, accounts and tax for financial companies with focus on private equity funds. Marcus holds an MSc (Business Administration and Auditing) from Copenhagen Business School.

Jens Hansen came to Maj Invest in August 2005 and is the group's Finance Manager. Prior to Jens' employment with Maj Invest, he worked for Alm. Brand Bank, Nordea and BG Bank. Jens holds an MSc in Finance from Copenhagen Business School.

Marianne Settnes has been General Counsel, Head of Legal & Compliance at Fondsmæglerselskabet Maj Invest A/S and Maj Invest Equity A/S since the establishment of the two companies in 2005 (and at LD from 2004). Prior to this, Marianne Settnes was employed as an attorney with the law firm Bech-Bruun (1993-2004) with focus on stock market law, M&A, capital market law and company law. Before this, she worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1992-1993). Marianne Settnes is Attorney with the right to appear before the Danish High Court and holds an MBA.

Jakob Vestergaard has been with Fondsmæglerselskabet Maj Invest A/S and Maj Invest Equity A/S since 2008. Prior to this, he worked for the law firm Bech-Bruun (2000-2008) with M&A, company law, insurance law, transport law and disputes. Jakob Vestergaard is attorney with the right to appear before the Danish High Court.

Thomas Moltke Thybo came to Maj Invest in the spring 2018. Prior to this, he worked for ATP (2016-2018) and Finansiel Stabilitet (2009-2016). Previously, Thomas Moltke Thybo has worked within areas such as M&A, company law, banking and financing law as well as financial regulation. Thomas Moltke Thybo holds a Master of Law from the University of Copenhagen with a stay abroad at the London School Economics. In addition, Thomas has a diploma in business administration (Finance) from CBS.

Sofie Krogh Løchte joined Maj Invest in 2013 as a student assistant in Legal & Compliance and continued as Senior Legal Counsel. Sofie holds a Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen from 2017 and is specialised within the areas financial regulation, capital market law and company law.

Ida Sønderby came to Maj Invest in 2021. Prior to this, Ida worked for the law firm Accura (2017-2021), first as a legal trainee and later as an assistant attorney. At Accura law firm, Ida worked within areas such as M&A, corporate law and general commercial legal advice. Ida holds a Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen with an exchange semester at the National University of Singapore.

Mette Fibæk Madsen came to Maj Invest in 2008 from a position as administrative coordinator with The Confederation of Danish Employers (2000-2008) where she also completed her all-round office training and education.
