Jeppe Christiansen
Member of investment committee
Jeppe Christiansen established Maj Invest in 2005 and has been CEO of the Maj Invest group since the establishment. In addition, Jeppe was CEO of Lønmodtagernes Dyrtidsfond (LD) from 2004 and until 1 April 2009. Prior to that, Jeppe was Executive Director in Danske Bank (1998-2004) with responsibility for group equity business and corporate international banking. In the period 1988-1998 Jeppe worked for LD, first as CIO (1988-1993) and later on as Executive Director with responsibility for the equity business (1993-1998). Prior to that he worked as an economist with SDS as responsible for the international capital position (1986-1988). Jeppe holds an MSc from the University of Copenhagen (1985).
Among other things, Jeppe is Chairman of the Board of Haldor Topsøe A/S as well as member of the Board of Directors at Kirkbi A/S, Novo Nordisk A/S and Novo Holdings A/S.

Jens Aaløse

In November 2021, Jens Aaløse joined as Managing Partner in Maj Invest Equity and further joined the management of Maj Invest Holding and Maj Invest Equity. Jens is former Senior Executive Vice President in TDC (2013-2021), CEO in Danske Spil (2010-2013), CEO in Nordic Media Link AB and Dansk Reklamefilm (2006-2010) as well as Vice President in SAS (1986-2006). Thus, Jens has extensive management experience and in-depth knowledge of many types of companies and sectors. In addition, he has broad investment experience through his participation in more than 20 corporate transactions.
Among other executive functions and directorships, Jens Aaløse is Chairman of the Board of Blue Ocean Robotics and Vice Chairman of the Board of Topdanmark.

Niels Toft

Niels Toft joined Maj Invest Equity in 2005, shortly before the establishment of Maj Invest Equity. Previously, Niels worked for Bain & Company (1998–2005) with strategy development, operational improvement projects and M&A for a wide range of industrial and service businesses, as well as with commercial due diligence on investments for Nordic private equity clients. Niels holds an MSc in Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and has participated in UCLA’s MBA programme.

Mads Andersen

Mads Andersen joined Maj Invest Equity in 2008. Prior to joining Maj Invest Equity, Mads worked with the investment company FL Group (2006–2007) and with M&A advisory services for KPMG Corporate Finance (1999–2004) and FIH (2004–2006). Mads holds an MSc in Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.

Thomas Riis

Thomas Riis joined Maj Invest Equity in 2008. Prior to this, Thomas worked for North Sea Capital from 2005 to 2008 with international investments in private equity funds. Previously, Thomas worked for 3i (Nordic) where he was involved in private investments in medium-sized Danish and Nordic companies (2001–2005). Thomas has also worked with M&A consulting for PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance (1998–2001) as well as Gudme Raaschou (1997–1998). Thomas holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.

Henrik Andersen

In 2016, Henrik Andersen was appointed Group President & CEO of Hempel A/S. Before joining Hempel, Henrik Andersen was Group COO for ISS. Henrik joined ISS in 2000 and held various management positions. He spent seven years at ISS UK, first as CFO and then as Country Manager. Prior to ISS, Henrik spent more than ten years with Jyske Bank. He has a Master’s Degree in Law from Aarhus University and a Diploma in International Finance from Aarhus Business School. Henrik is a member of the Board of Directors of Vestas Wind System A/S.

Carsten Dilling

Carsten Dilling is vice chairman of the board of directors of NNIT and a member of the board of directors of SAS AB. Until September 2015, Carsten was President and CEO of TDC A/S where he has worked since 2007. Earlier he held the position of managing director of Ementor, and before that he was CEO of Columbus IT Partner. From 1987 to 2001, Carsten worked for IBM Nordic and Denmark. Carsten holds a BSc. in Economics and International Trade from Copenhagen Business School.
