Company's Edge-Based AI Detection Capability Building Momentum as NATO Accelerates Adoption of Autonomous Battlefield Technologies

Following strategic financing from Maj Invest Holding, the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO), and Final Frontier, Dropla Tech ApS is positioned to provide Ukrainian and European forces with enhanced explosive threat detection and force protection capabilities utilizing the Company's edge AI technologies.

This directly addresses NATO's critical requirement for offline, sovereign threat detection capabilities that operate independently of cloud infrastructure in contested electromagnetic environments. Dropla's proprietary edge computing architecture ensures that sensitive battlefield intelligence remains under direct command control while delivering real-time detection of landmines, UXOs, IEDs, and ambush drones with sub-15cm precision accuracy within Front Edge of Battle Area.

Battlefield-Validated Technology
Dropla has established Europe's most comprehensive landmine detection dataset through extensive testing in Ukraine over 2 years in making.

The company's testing facility contains over 170 confirmed explosive targets, providing real-world validation that cannot be replicated in laboratory conditions.

"In active conflict environments, we are delivering immediate life-saving capabilities by reducing the risk of loss of life and injuries from explosive threats and ambush drones deployed within the FEBA zone, this is the way we contribute" said V'yacheslav Shvaidak, PhD, Co-founder and CEO of Dropla Tech.

"With this strategic backing, we are scaling production to make change in Ukraine, while advancing our integration into the NATO C4ISR ecosystem. Also worth mentioning that we integrate with any Short Range Reconnaissance UAVs, as our solution is Drone Agnostic, you can install the capabilities within a month"

“We are proud to back Dropla and its life-saving, AI-based explosive threat detection capabilities. This investment reflects our dedication to investing in, and strengthening, the Danish and European defence sector.”
— Jeppe Christiansen, CEO, Maj Invest

The company's Blue Eyes edge-complex processes threat detection directly on edge, using a special compute node, ensuring sensitive intelligence remains under direct command control. By embedding AI processing directly into ruggedized edge nodes, Dropla eliminates the connectivity dependencies that compromise mission effectiveness in modern multi-domain operations.

Strategic Government Partnership
Dropla has received support from both Danish and Ukrainian defense establishments. The Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has provided operational requirements based on battlefield conditions, ensuring Dropla's development directly addresses critical capability gaps.

This partnership exemplifies Denmark's dual commitment to supporting Ukraine and strengthening European defense sovereignty. With Denmark having committed over DKK 60 billion in military support to Ukraine, Dropla represents a bridge between public policy objectives and private sector innovation.

“Dropla Tech delivers life-saving innovation with real-world impact. Their edge-based threat detection technology not only strengthens Europe’s defense capabilities, but also addresses Ukraine’s urgent needs. Defense is one of EIFO’s strategic focus areas, and we’re proud to support a company that combines world-class technical excellence with critical geopolitical relevance.”

Accelerating Market Entry
The €2.4 million pre-seed round will fast-track the company’s go-to-market rollout across key verticals.

The company's dual-use platform serves both military requirements and humanitarian demining objectives, with the Dropla Seer Complex providing scalable solutions for post-conflict recovery operations.
