Jannick Mortensen
Jannick Mortensen joined Maj Invest Minorities in 2021 and has since been instrumental in shaping its investment strategy. With a robust background in both sell-side and buy-side investment banking and asset management, Jannick brings a wealth of experience to the table.
At Danica, he co-managed a high conviction equity strategy with an AuM of 3 USDbn, which was ranked in the upper decile among 4,800 global equity mandates based on performance. Additionally, Jannick was one of Europe's largest allocators across IPOs and ECM activities, participating in over 20 global IPOs, many as an anchor investor.
Previously, Jannick spent four years at a larger long/short equity hedge fund, focusing on investments in industrials, healthcare, and technology companies. His career also includes analyst roles in corporate finance, where he advised private equity funds on acquiring Danish assets, and at Danske Bank Markets, where he advised large institutional investors on complex financial instruments. Academically, Jannick graduated at the top of his class from Copenhagen Business School with a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting.
