Maj Invest Minorities (flagship strategy)
The investment strategy involves acquiring minority stakes in mid-to-large-cap private equity deals and early-stage ventures within innovative technology and life sciences companies in developed markets. The combination of Private Equity (PE) and Venture Capital (VC) investments yields a high return while balancing risk. Investments are conducted alongside recognized co-investors from our exclusive network. The technology and life sciences sectors are structural outperformers characterized by strong growth drivers, deep innovation, and significant contributions to human and planetary health.

MIM I, MIM II and MIM III
Our first fund, Maj Invest Minorities I (MIM I) was established in 2021 with PKA as anchor investor. The fund is classified as an Article 8 fund under the EU's Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation. It has a core focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), including SDG3, Good Health and Well-Being; SDG8, Decent Work and Economic Growth; and SDG13: Climate Action. The fund is approximately 89% invested, and the period for new investments has closed.
After a strong start and validation of the strategy, demand for a successor fund arose and MIM II was established in 2024. MIM II had its initial closing in March 2024 with a commitment of 1.750 DKKm from PKA, and its investment period has now closed.
Our third fund, Maj Invest Minorities III (MIM III), has a 2026 vintage and raised approximately 4.500 DKKm at its first close. The fund continues our strategy of minority investments in private equity and venture capital within technology and life sciences in developed markets, alongside recognised co-investors from our network. The fund is approximately 15% invested across three investments.
