Maj Invest Equity 5 has entered into an agreement on the sale of Itadel to ITR Group; one of Denmark's largest suppliers of IT services. As part of the transaction, Itadel and IT Relation will merge. The sale is conditional on competition authority approval with completion expected by end of June.
Maj Invest Equity 5 acquired the company, then TDC Hosting, in 2017 and shortly after changed its name to Itadel. Itadel is one of Denmark's leading IT outsourcing providers, employing approximately 260 experienced people in Aarhus, Copenhagen and Prague. The company provides and operates secure IT platforms for a number of medium-sized and large companies with a well-functioning delivery model.
In recent years, the company has undergone a turnover and strategic repositioning, and Itadel is now ready for further development under a new ownership.
