Morningstar har igen ratet Maj Invest Value Aktier sølv. Sølv gives til fonde med ”bemærkelsesværdige fordele”.
I seneste Morningstar Global Fund Report fra september 2019, gav Morningstar igen Maj Invest Value Aktier ratingen sølv. Det betyder, at afdelingen fastholder sin rating fra 2017. Mens Morningstars tildeling af stjerner er bagudrettet og måler præstationerne indtil nu, baserer tildelingen af kategorierne guld, sølv, bronze, neutral eller negativ sig på en kvalitativ analyse, som bliver foretaget af Morningstars analytikerteam. Ratingen viser Morningstars forventninger til fremtidige præstationer.
I rapporten skriver Morningstar: "Maj Invest Global Value Equity is a compelling strategy that benefits from an experienced and dedicated team and a sensible and thorough process, leading to a high-conviction portfolio. The strategy has proved its worth since inception and deserves a Morningstar Analyst Rating of Silver."
"Despite a short-term struggle, this fund’s long-term track record has been among the best in its category, leading to a Positive Performance rating. The fund has an impressive track record versus both peers and the MSCI World Index since the 2005 inception of the Danish-domiciled clone. Since its start through August 2019, that fund’s annualised return of 8.6% has almost doubled the category average and has comfortably beaten the index return of 6.6%. It ranks in the first percentile over the 10 years through August 2019 while ranking in the top decile over the trailing five years."
