Karsten Søndermølle joined Maj Invest in January 2019 as Head of Equities with responsibility for Danish equities. Karsten has worked with equity investments for 30 years; the last 13 years with focus on the Danish market for equities as portfolio manager at SEB and BankInvest. Previously, he has worked as an institutional advisor in Nordea, SEB and Alfred Berg. In addition, Karsten has completed the CFA course and an HD Graduate Diploma in finance.

Magnus Skjellerup Rasmussen joined Maj Invest in 2021 as an analyst in Maj Invest Danish Equities. Magnus has previously worked with equity research in Jyske Bank as a student assistant. Magnus holds an MSc in Finance from Aarhus University and has studied abroad at London School of Economics.

Kurt joined Maj Invest in 2005, and he has been responsible for managing the Maj Invest Global Value Equities fund since its inception. Prior to joining Maj Invest, Kurt worked as an equity strategist at Danske Bank. Previously he worked at Danske Capital as portfolio manager for the Danske Invest Latin American Equities Fund. Kurt holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.

Ulrik Jensen has been a portfolio manager at Maj Invest since January 2006 with co-responsibility for managing the Maj Invest Global Value Equities fund. Before that Ulrik worked as an analyst and a portfolio manager at Sparbank for four years with responsibility for managing the bank's treasury holdings. Ulrik holds an MSc in Finance.

Rasmus Quist Pedersen joined Maj Invest in early 2015 as a Junior Analyst with focus on global value equities. In November 2015 began full-time, still with focus on value equities. Rasmus holds an MSc in Finance from Copenhagen Business School, and has also been abroad attending Harvard University. Previously, Rasmus worked as a student assistant at Jyske Bank.

Klaus Bockstaller joined Maj Invest in January 2019 from Pictet Asset Management in London where he left as Head Global Emerging Markets (Value). Before joining Pictet in 2009, Klaus was a founding partner of Fleming Family & Partners Capital Management LLP. This was a partnership with the Fleming family office. He managed the FCM European Frontier and the FCM Global Opportunities long/short equity funds. Between 2000 and 2004, Klaus worked at Baring Asset Management in London as head EMEA, managing a number of funds and institutional mandates totalling USD 1.5bn. Previously, Klaus spent seven years at UBS Brinson as a portfolio manager Eastern Europe. Klaus holds a Masters degree (Diplom Volkswirt) in Political Economy form the University of Freiburg.

Frederik Thomsen joined Maj Invest in August 2022 as an Equity Analyst for Emerging Markets Value. Before joining Maj Invest, Frederik worked at Willis Towers Watson from 2018 to 2022 as an Investment Analyst. Frederik holds a master’s degree in Finance and Accounting (cand.merc.fir.) from Copenhagen Business School.

Erik Bak joined Maj Invest in 2011. Until September 2017 he was Chief Analyst and responsible for equity research in Maj Invest Markets. Erik is now Senior Portfolio Manager managing Maj Invest Global Sundhed, a global equities fund. In the period 2008-2011 Erik worked for Alfred Berg as Senior Portfolio Manager in the Nordic equity group, and prior to this he held a position as Head of Research with an investment management company. Erik holds an MSc in Finance and Accounting and is also a CFA and CAIA charterholder.

Torsten has worked with equity investments since 2000 and has been employed with Maj Invest since 2007. Torsten is Head of Equities with responsibility for the thematic equity strategies. This includes the management of Maj Invest Net Zero 2050, Maj Invest Planet & People (shared responsibility) and the balanced strategies Maj Invest Kontra Strategier (shared responsibility) and Maj Invest Big Picture (shared responsibility). Previously, Torsten had a more analytical role in relation to financial companies, unlisted investments and product development. In the 2000-2007, Torsten worked for Jyske Bank as a senior analyst. Torsten holds an MSc in Finance from Aarhus University.

Mads joined Maj Invest in 2012 and is responsible for the management of Maj Invest Vækstaktier (global growth equities). Mads holds an MSc in Finance & International Business from Aarhus School of Business and Social Sciences. Former employments include ABG Sundal Collier (equity research), DONG Energy and MAKE Consulting.

Andreas Johan Lindtner joined Maj Invest in 2020 as an equity analyst in the global growth equities fund (Maj Invest Vækstaktier). From previous student positions at international companies, Andreas has experience in financial analysis and market research. Andreas holds an MSc in Economics & International Business from Copenhagen Business School and has studied at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Columbia University.

Peter Emil Bundgaard Mondrup joined Maj Invest in 2020 and focuses on macroeconomic research and the financial markets in general. In addition, Peter also serves as economist for Maj Bank. Peter holds an MSc in Economics from University of Copenhagen and has previously worked with asset management as a student in Investering & Tryghed and finance and macroeconomics in A.P. Møller-Mærsk.

Astrid Gram Nielsen joined Maj Invest in 2022 as an economist. She focuses on macroeconomic developments and general tendencies in the financial markets. Astrid holds an MSc in Economics from University of Copenhagen and has previously worked with Asset Management as a student assistant with SEB.

Gustav Bundgaard Smidth has served as Portfolio Manager in Maj Invest since 2011 and was appointed Head of Fixed Income in December 2018 with the overall responsibility for the management of all bond portfolios, including the Maj Invest Kontra fund. Gustav spent 2006 to 2011 as Senior Analyst with Danske Markets in Fixed Income Research. Gustav started his career in the financial sector with Alm. Brand Børs in 2003. Gustav holds an MSc (mathematics and economics) from Copenhagen University and occasionally acts as external examiner for mathematics and economics students at the university. 

Tino Henriksen has been employed as a portfolio manager at Maj Invest since 2016 with focus on corporate bonds. From 2014 to 2015 Tino worked as a portfolio manager at BankInvest with responsibility for European investment grade corporate bonds. In the period 2007-2013, Tino worked for Danske Bank in different positions, most recently as chief credit analyst. Tino's career began as a graduate trainee with Realkredit Danmark (2006-2007). Tino holds an MSc in Applied Economics & Finance from Copenhagen Business School.

Simon joined Maj Invest in 2022 as a portfolio manager with a focus on Danish bonds. Prior to this, Simon worked with management and investment in Danish mortgage bonds at Handelsbanken. Simon holds an MSc in finance from Aarhus University.

Henrik Stok Eskildsen has served as Portfolio Manager in Maj Invest since 2012 with responsibility for the daily currency and cash management, and in 2019 he was appointed Senior Trader. In the period 2010-2012 Henrik worked as a Risk Manager in the treasury department of Nykredit Realkredit. Henrik started his financial sector career in Nykredit as a student assistant in the treasury department's unit for investments (2007-2010).

Frederik Vibjerg Lauritsen joined Maj Invest in 2022 as an analyst/trader in the fixed income department. Frederik holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School and has studied abroad at Wharton School and University of Sydney. Frederik has previously worked as a junior analyst for the asset manager Curo Capital.

Sine Skov Jonassen came to Maj Invest in 2021, first as Junior Sustainability Manager (part-time) and since 2022 as Sustainability Manager (full-time). Sine holds an MSc from Copenhagen Business School and also has a minor in Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG): Metrics, Reporting and Sustainable Investments.

Klaus Godiksen has over thirty years of experience within the investment industry and oversees Maj Invest's institutional sales activities internationally. Prior to joining Maj Invest, Klaus worked at Nordea Investment Management as Global Head of Institutional Sales Internationally from 1995 to 2015. His previous employments include three years at Jyske Bank, United Kingdom and six years at National Bank of Long Beach in California. Klaus holds a BA in Banking and Finance. In addition, Klaus served as chairman of the European Committee of the New York Society of Security Analysts for two years.

Carsten Høegh has served as Head of Investor Relations at Maj Invest since 2011 with the overall responsibility for Maj Invest's international clients. Prior to this, Carsten was the co-founder and CEO of Bremerholm; an alternative financial products boutique. Carsten has worked in the financial sector for many years with international equity sales and emerging markets at Credit Suisse, as Head of Equity Sales at Nordea in Copenhagen and with emerging market equity sales at ING Barings, among others.

Anders Rømert has been part of the group since 2015 and has since 2017 been employed as senior relationship manager. Anders has more than 30 years of experience from the financial markets and has primarily worked within investment advisory and wealth management. Previously, Anders was investment director in Omni Fondsmæglerselskab (asset management) and head of department i Forstædernes Bank. Additionally, Anders has been employed by BG Bank/Dexia BIL in London and by Carnegie in Copenhagen.

Peter Busk came to Maj Invest in 2006 as Head of Sales to launch the business area Markets. Peter has more than 20 years of experience from the financial markets, primarily providing equity advisory services to institutional clients. Peter's prior employments include a position at the securities firm Gudme Raaschou where he had the overall responsibility of Danish equity sales to domestic institutional clients, as well as positions at Finansbanken and BG Bank London.

Tomas Munksgard Hoff is Senior Manager with focus on Investeringsforeningen Maj Invest (mutual fund). Tomas joined Maj Invest in 2008 from a position as head of editorial research (business news) at the Danish newspaper Berlingske. Tomas holds an MSc (Economics) from the University of Copenhagen.

Mette Lissau joined Maj Invest in 2016. Mette is working with marketing across the various business areas of the group. Most recently, Mette was self-employed and prior to that she worked at several advertising agencies.

Mette Sveidahl Rathje joined Maj Invest in 2006. Mette holds an MSc in Translation and Interpretation (English) as well as an HD in Finance from Copenhagen Business School.

Sine Skov Jonassen came to Maj Invest in 2021, first as Junior Sustainability Manager (part-time) and since 2022 as Sustainability Manager (full-time). Jesper Poulsen has served as Senior Sales at Maj Invest since 2007. Prior to this, Jesper worked for Nordea Asset Management (2000-2007) as Chief Sales Manager with responsibility for international equity sales and advisory services in relation to the portfolio managers in Nordea Asset Management. Prior positions include responsibility for the bank's own international equity reserves at Midtbørs, and responsibility for both trading and advisory services at BG Markets and Danske Markets, respectively. Jesper is an HD graduate in Finance from Copenhagen Business School.

Lars Kjestrup joined Maj Invest in 2006 and took part in the establishment of the business area Markets. Lars joined Maj Invest from a position with the stockbroking company Gudme Raaschou as head of trading and risk management. Prior to this, Lars worked for Jyske Bank and Unibank, among others.
