Portfolio manager of the year - Danish equities

7 Jan. 2018

The independent Danish research company Dansk Aktieanalyse and the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten have elected Keld Henriksen from Maj Invest portfolio manager of the year.

Keld Henriksen knows his craft. His strength includes his many years of experience and his critical approach. These are the reasons stated by Dansk Aktie Analyse and Jyllandsposten in their election of Keld Henriksen as portfolio manager of the year. Keld Henriksen manages an approximately DKK 15 billion portfolio of Danish equities, including the mutual fund Maj Invest Danske Aktier.

Old school
He is not coloured by views and theoretical principles from international business universities. Instead he has worked his way up the financial system in Denmark and knows the story of each individual company he has picked. It is very "old school”, based on knowledge, scepticism and common sense – and it works. This is the reason why Dansk Aktie Analyse and Jyllands-Posten have elected Keld Henriksen portfolio manager of the year in Denmark.

Maj Invest's Kurt Kara was given the same title in 2009. Only two asset managers have won the title twice within the last ten years.
